If there is and the file has the correct filename information it will start the firmware update procedure instead. If not it proceeds with the normal startup. I don’t know about Blaupunkt but with some other brands the USB port is check very early in the start up procedure to see if there is a firmware file there. If the standby light was changing colour or indicating that the TV was turning on but then nothing else happened you may have a chance with a firmware update.
